Sorry for the late response . Thanks a lot for the personal mail with the notes . Great notes .
Took me just a couple of minutes to play it like the original . Who would have wondered that the "trick " would be something so simple . Have written personal mail to express my gratitude .

I don't understand why an artist of your caliber should hide himself behind a shroud of anonymity.
But then all flautists in my opinion are slightly "of the rock" (including me ) . I am a Chartered Accountant living in Zimbabwe and I used to play in a ganamela troupe for some time in the early 1980's in Bangalore . I still play the flute daily just to remind me of old times . One "bit" that defeated me during my playing days was the introduction piece of the song "Chandana lebha sugantham " in the film "oruoo vadakan veera gatha " .The piece is very straight but there seems to be a "trick" to it that I just could not fathom . Can you give me the notes for it please ?
I would also like to be included in your mailing list and would like to get to know other flautists especially NRI's like me in other parts of the world .
May God bless you for the "missionary " work that you are doing .
Sincerely
Krisnankutty Paniker

Great work. Information that is so vital yet not available from literature and unshared by those in the trade. Thank you for sharing these pearls of wisdom with the wider world.

I came upon this site by accident . I used to play the flute in high school . Now I am 45 and out of touch for many years. Now I am thinking of playing again but I dont have much time for practice etc . Do you think I should start again ?
another thing I noticed that you should add some flute tracks to your site .That will make the site good . why dont you upload some tunes?
